Without significant campaign reform, all the Pols are bought and sold no matter what side they're on. Now it just gets worse.

We'll see-
Last week's Supreme Court ruling striking down the ban on direct corporate spending in elections could allow overseas corporations -- even those controlled by foreign governments -- to pour money into U.S. elections, supporters of campaign-finance regulation warn.

The McCain/Feingold bill was upheld by the Supreme court 7 years ago. Courts are supposed to follow precedent ie evaluate the line of cases that came before them. Now it's overturned

Do you honestly think that overturning that decision is good thing?

I honestly believe that if you're going to let the unions buy ads for their pocket-liners; the corps oughta be able to do the same.

What's made up?

Don't have time to dig into this right now (and I will soon) but I heard on the radio or a news show that in arguments before the Supremes government lawyers had to admit that the old law also applied to BOOKS (that meet the same requirements).
