whatcha tying?

kind of self-explanatory, right? We seem to have some impressive thread-wrappers that lurk around this board. let's try to keep your "first booger" posts at a minimum.

The difference between sentiment and being sentimental is the following: Sentiment is when a driver swerves out of the way to avoid hitting a rabbit on the road. Being sentimental is when the same driver, when swerving away from the rabbit, hits a pedestrian.

I was planning on fishing Norway this summer, so I tied a bunch of salmon flies.

Here is one:

But then I changed my mind...the call of eastern europe is simply too powerful. :(

Maybe I'll photo some of the others tonight. Anyone one want a couple dozen salmon flies?

What kind of vise is holding that salmon fly heero?
Outcast's initial response to you is just the sort of mean, immediate, unnecessary, gatekeeper-bullshit newbie-bashing that I've come to hate on my own board. But then, somehow, miraculously, in only six posts, you managed to earn it. -nemo

I've been dreaming of large toothy bastards... Oh and basses! Here are a couple flies not the greatest pics but this is what I've been whipping up at night. Not sure how they will fish since I just make up most of my patterns. But they look killer in the tub and they swim awesome! The rubber legs are a nice touch and add lots of action on both patterns. :cool

This one is about 9-10'' long so not real huge.

Popper is about 4 1/2'' or so.
