Classic Atlantic Salmon Flies

kind of self-explanatory, right? We seem to have some impressive thread-wrappers that lurk around this board. let's try to keep your "first booger" posts at a minimum.

Classic Atlantic Salmon Flies

Post by Aguirre » Sun Jan 27, 2013 7:30 am

We've needed this thread for a long time. These things aren't ginormous steelhead flies so I made a home for them.
Here is the first, some flies from this weekend for Drakians:

no, mate.

eg.

Dear DAN,
A very firm and wellmeaned BRAVO to Your adress...to come up with such a nice "BLACK DOG"
A whole whole lot is pleasing my eyes !!!
A realy nice shape and good flosswork (IMO)
Everything is been said ...but again I feel and see this is a 'fly' YOU can be realy proud off !!! (next time try to put a tad longer tailveiling 'on'...as slightly longer would had still 'leveled' up to the total outlook of Your fly)
CONTINUE...psttttttttt YOU are definitly 'in' for a great 2013 'uphere' and Your tyingcareer!

Geert

how queer.

topical: I put a great collection in my huge blinky gift riker today/yesterday. I'll take a photo in daylight. it's the bollocks.

disclaimer: I needed the single rikers for this next stint. I'm still six short.
I don't know how this happened; chuckles sent us twenty-four of the fuckers.
people must buy my over-priced, poorly tied, over-promoted shit.

or perhaps I just give them away...

either way... price goes up, niggers. <racist twat. fix that, jed.

You guys are truly finely tuned machines. I remember when I used to tie flies, but just barely. I gots to get going as I owe flies to some stalwart fellows here. And I may get to go fishing again sometime. It has been too long. Nice work there boys. On another front, there's been no sign of that fat limey blowhard of late. Someone must have ruffled his petticoat in the Classic Salmon Fly world. Either that or he and the tattoo-wearing flying blond boy are cuddling in private.
Life is a whole lot more simple when you plow around the stump.

Flat nosed pliers, sticky wax and tie in by the very butt where the white barbules are. Man have your flies ever gotten good! :cool :cool
