Perhaps.... nowhere in my post did I argue against the message of the cartoon... merely the fact that its not funny, its just not... sorry..

damn.. a man makes an observation and all of a sudden he's martha stewart.. I have no love for the POTUS, or the government in general for that matter... Only slightly less love in fact for them than i have for the people standing on the far reaches of either side of the political line rattling rubber swords... I tire of the endless shit throwing from both sides.. because in the end, we the people are standing in the middle being riddled with the fecal matter of ignorant fuckwads too blind to see us standing there...

That and I have a sense of humor...

Excellent rant, Mads. I agree completely, and as you scroll through this thread I find it fairly consistent- the hard right cartoonists generally illustrate bitterness rather than humor. Look at Dennis Miller- pre hard right turn he could be genuinely funny- these days he seems more a bitter twat.

I think you're seeing more the bitterness of the poster rather than that type of cartoonist. There's plenty of funny cartoons from the right, but its fair to say that our right leaning dungeon mates identify more with the bitter.

Dennis Miller probably knows that there's plenty of demand out there from 30% of the country for the bitter schtick, and its got to be easier than cranking out stuff that's actually funny.

After all, it takes the best comedians a full year to develop one great hour. Rush makes millions ranting for hours to his lemmings every day.

Oh make no mistake about it.. in no way did the caricature cross any lines for me. Taste or otherwise. It was no more than an observation... It's kinda like that south park episode about immigration where the first guy Yells clearly "They took our jobs!!" and then others join in the chant, but by the time it gets to the last guy it sounds like " E ook er ooobss!!" Kinda the same thing to me here... just in cartoons...

I don't debate the "material" you present because its incoherent ranting that would take hours to make coherent and then address.

I also know that the only way to "win" an internet argument is to let the other guy make it clear out how wrong he is. You obviate the need to even respond to make that happen.
