It's always the same discussion. " we only have so much time together with the kids and we need to use it wisely "
She is usually right and once again she proved it.
So I left a huge pile of work on my desk .............and we headed to the old world.
Delta did their best to thwart us and we had a nice 36 hour visit with JFK international.....no bags , no toothbrush , just time.......
and the Jelly bean game.....dead fish is dead on.....trust me:

And just like that a plane showed up with a few seats for us:
Woke up the next morning to this:
spent the next few days looking at ruins:
and old science projects:
I have to say I was very surprised and pleased by the open nature and friendliness of the Irish people....I felt like I was home. We checked out some beautiful farms:
Visited a fishing village:
Then we ended up at a place owned by a dude we all know and love......I was very very surprised by the the quaintness......Lack of gawdy gold trim.......and the downright splendid fishing presented by our host.
Definitely a place I'll visit again.
The sea run spawn was just starting and I had a couple takes but no catches.......so I moved inland a bit and things picked up ....considerably!!
