whatcha tying?

kind of self-explanatory, right? We seem to have some impressive thread-wrappers that lurk around this board. let's try to keep your "first booger" posts at a minimum.

It's looking about 50/50 I'm going to find myself in Charleston in mid November with a day to kill. I dig these. What size are you typically tying your redfish flies?
Hook will depend on the fly.. but for most of my patterns I use a Gamakatsu SC15 1/0 ... it's pretty much perfect for the size of flies we tie, and the wide gap helps with hookup... I would stay away from the B10-s or similar hooks... they will bend and break on fish pretty regularly.. plus they rust, which if you don't fish salt alot won't matter, but for us does.. the SC15 is the way to go..

frustrated. After a few "what the fucks?" "i suck"s and a break on shore I convinced her to get back to casting. I clearly remember this question/statement "so you actually think this is fun. These fish are fucked"
