No need for flasks or parking lots when you can fill a dozen or more of these with vodka and drink at your desk.

On my first day back to work I put a piece of pipe in my backpack. It proved to be heavy and difficult to access, so today I brought my wading staff.

While crossing the street, with the light, in the crosswalk, wearing my neon safety vest, a Mercedes speeding in the opposite direction made a sharp left turn and passed no more than a foot in front of me.

I held out the wading staff as he did so and put a nice scratch along the entire length of his shiny new car.

Simple pleasures are often the best.
