Drake is a bunch of hipsters running their mouths.
Somebody mentioned The Drake. No thanks! Crappy in-your-face attitude articles were a turn-off to me.
And you are right: Drake is offensive despite having some great photos. "Hogs", "pigs", and head counts are just not my idea of great fishing literature.
I also detest the fly fishing film tour content/types of movies, because it is basically what some of you have described as the Drake magazine content, just in live action on a screen. Just not interested! I find it damaging to our pastime and should be dealt with in the same manner as we deal with Polio.
I'm starting to think that in sepps hipsters are now being referred to as folk who need new hips.
furthermore, I suspect we also need to have a discussion on how we've all been dealing with our polios.
and to be perfectly honest with youse... I've just been kind of ignoring mine.
