Summer (TRs, sort of)

Long time no speak. I don't seem to reach for the camera much these days, but it's been a solid summer for fishing on both our coasts. A Gulf harbor. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b333/ch02e/IMG_0233.jpg A Port in the Atlantic. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b333/ch02e/IMG_0252.jpg Lake Atlan...

Re: Trolling motors..thumbs up/thumbs down?

Flood..I would agree with you 100% but how do you guys feel about the boats that are now working the flats in 2' of water? Or the gu...

Re: Big Ass Tarpon

The tarpon headhunter fraternity out on Homosassa each May is small and it gets smaller each year. On a good year, maybe 3 or 4 fish are brought to the dock in the name of a record; some years, a Homosassa fish isn't killed at all. Regardless, the number of fish the recordhunters kill is far fewer t...

Instead of complaining about the Drake, why don't you make me some spoon flies? It would be a more productive use of your time (for me) .

A boat drifting towards rocks, partially submerged, etc., probably would. I have no idea if those rules apply to i...

Re: Nervous Water

http://www.eastcapecanoes.com/gallery/data/2/medium/IMG_5538.jpg What about a mount like this on the platform for a bucket? It might save you on the firedrill of finding a home for the pushpole, jumping off the platform, and running to the bow for a shot. I agree that a powerpole or some other stak...
