This whole project has me hot and bothered! Are you tracking any of those fish? Just wondering if you're going to try and gauge the mortality rate. I imagine it would be low since there's good depth and no predators sans themselves. I really look forward to seeing how this project progresses. Thanks...

Several times throughout the World Cup there have been guys who run out onto the field to interrupt play. Their actions seem to have no purpose other than to satisfy some weird need for acknowledgement. These people are merely escorted from the field and are forgotten before they've even left the pi...

Nice, Chris. I have a little big bro, as well. My times with him on the water are getting more and more rare, but are always cherished and packed full of memories. Glad you're making the time for him. And, yeah, he's screwed for life now that he's gotten a taste of the streamer tug. Good job, bud.

Here ya go, TX. We had a pretty great trip. Several more fish should've been brought to hand, but this fish sure left me with a smile. She ate after several turns and taped at just over 48" in the water. The visual of her eat was stunning to say the least. It seems as though the spawn is mostly over...

That was fun to read. Some of those fish looked to be 6 lbs or more. I'd be completely lost on big, braided water like that. As for the fly, me and my ego both wish it was ours, but that'd be a lie. It obviously got the job done. Stay safe out there!

Alan, what kind of ninja would let someone just walk in and eat your food?
That looked like a lot of fun. Franzy, how'd it feel to get back to your roots?

I'll start with this. Me and a buddy had an incredible weekend last week. Fished for three days and didn't see a fish, with the exception of one incredible hour-long window. Beats all I've ever seen. First fish was 36', which we were happy about given the water temp was in the mid thirties. http://i...

Thanks for the reminder...

We're going for that walk now.
Ditto. Both dogs had their heads in my lap as I read this. Let's go, pups! Gotta dry the eyes in this cold air.

Awesome fish, Scott! Glad to see you made it work even with less than ideal conditions. I was on water west of you yesterday with Travis when you called. We had good clarity and a lot of fun scouting, but no slime on the hands.
