Seriously, that whole sequence and your tutorial ought to be published in a magazine... you know, a fly fishing magazine, maybe one for those who fish... or something like that.

I really dig your signature block too.
x2. You really should consider this Slave. This piece is well thought out, well written, and well photographed. :cool

Damn Slave - that's way cool.

Could you do a print of me (without gouging out my eyes or jamming cotton up my ass)?

I'll pay for the paint and paper. It'll take a bunch.

Yer pal,

I'll just print you with your pimp star glasses on, but I'm afraid the cotton up the ass is required. Where's FishHeadLarry

all right then, serf.
what's the trade? I'd like a trout series if you'd be so kind.
all I have are fancy fairy flies. you can have this...

or this

or I could tie the 'the serf'.
I'd need to know what colours you like, I could base it on a favourite football team or some shit (no twatting arsenal or fucking chelsea) or it could be for your son or you could tell me to get fucked. I do have every colour under the fairy rainbow.
but... if you wanted a freestyle there's a queue and you'll be finished way the fuck before me...

Damn, someone went diggin deep to find this 7 year old thread.

I suppose it's past due for an update.

In the time since, I've probably made a couple thousand more prints, and travelled to Japan to learn the indirect gyotaku technique from master sensei Mineo Yamamoto.
Here's a video of the experience, courtesy of the Japanese TV program "why did you come to Japan?"
