During the past year most of my purchases have been made online and delivered to my door, so it was nice to patronize some of the local businesses and spend a little money on stuff I didn't really need.

This isn’t viewed as the prettiest river up here, and it doesn’t hold the most fish or the biggest fish like its nearby cousins, yet it’s the one I come back to more than any other.

If you go looking for advice at the fly shop or talk to any of the guides, they’ll all tell you that the most effective way to fish this river is with a nymph.

We walk the tracks and hate the spacing as well. It's a complicated, they don't do it on purpose...
