Tie in all three pieces of maribou, shortening them as you go

Tie in peacock herl on each side and on top, then wrap excess to create a bump

Thanks all. Scott, nope. Just tease it out in my hand til the fibers are all the same length. Then lay it on top of the hook, roll around the shank, tie in the middle, and push the front half back and wrap up to it.

In theory this sounds simple but I'm sure it's not quite that easy. Beautiful effect; will have to give it a shot.
