Another one from the Jackson Hole area. Shares some components with the Split-wing Cripple but the front-end's a bit different. Tied here as a baetis, change colors to suit your needs. My apologies for the poor pics; brought my tying stuff on the road but have to make do with some sub-standard lighting.

hook - Dai Riki 320 #18
thread - Uni 8/0 olive dun
shuck - Z-lon brown
tail - mallard flank (dyed woodduck)
abdomen - biot olive brown
wing - Snowshoe hare's foot
thorax - dubbing olive brown
hackle - dun

Mash down barb, start thread, tie in shuck and wrap back to bend; trim (gap width)

tie in a few mallard flank fibers (shank length) over shuck

moisten biot and tie in (notch side down for ribbed effect, up for smooth; your choice); wrap forward, tie off and trim

cut a clump of SS hare's foot (shank length); tie in

dub thorax; take a turn in front of wing to help stand it up

tie in hackle

take a wrap behind the wing, then a few in front; tie off, trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
