Some discussion on it's origin, but most attribute this neat matuka to David Collyer. Getting some more mileage out of the craft store bronze mallard sub. Can't do better than Mr. McPhail for instruction

rib - small wire silver (didn't have the right sized tinsel, which looks so cool)
body - sparkle chenille black
throat - guinea
wing - hen black (4)
topping - waterfowl flank dyed bronze(ish)
