A Confession

All threads that bitch about new, existing, or old members will be posted/relocated here. Keep this shit off the General forum, because no one wants (or cares) to hear your opinions. Now go back to the other forums and post something worthy of reading.

I like the offer and a 22 hour drive is not much of an issue considering I just drove from the west to the east and back again; total of about 7500km. Problem is timing, I am off to NZ again for a couple of months which may cause some angst with the redhead.

And drink a beer with every one of them.

And as long as he brushes his teeth, no hangover.

With a month of tarpon fishing coming soon I really hope that fishing on a windy day does not cause the same kind of cancer that wind farms cause.

Only if the fly flailing takes a form similar to windmilling.

Not to worry. I’m on “soccertots “ coaching duty instead. Sure wish I could get my ass kicked by those fish again. Seems like my fishing is defined more by the fish I don’t catch than those I do these days.

Confession: I have 3 memories of kids soccer.

The best was the super hot red head girl coach. Holly. It was before puberty but somehow I knew she was super hot.

The worst: it was the 80s and short shorts were the go to. I remember a coaching session sitting “Indian style” and my dad the head coach’s balls were hanging out. I heard about it from the rest of the team all year. Thank god they didn’t have coed teams back then.

Funniest: we had a super timid kid. He had some skills but just locked up in games One game my pops got tired of it and after he let 2 kids dribble past him he substituted the kid for a cone. He literally went out and put a cone in the spot said kid was playing and told the refs they were good to go. The refs ejected him but the funny part is that kid got it and was really good after that.
