Another MOH recipient......

Go watch this video first...... ... l#comments

Now read about him here...................... ... fghanistan

When the Marine Corp Times write up nice stuff about an Army soldier, he must have been pretty damn heroic
and it was the same action that Dakota Meyers received his MOH and two other Marines received Navy Crosses.
Must have been one hell of a battle.

Now I must get back to my duties of getting the funeral arraignments done for my step dad who passed away on Monday in my moms home. I have the fun shit of executing the family trust as I am executor and power of attorney for the trust and my mom passed last year.

Is this thing still going on???

How many troops do we have there???

How much a year are we spending on this shit???

It is 2013, when did this shit start?

We could have colonized Mars with midget hookers in less time,
for less money with better results.

Do we still have troops in IRAQ???

Anyone want to venture a guess as to how many amazing, honestly heroic American service members were killed in Afghanistan In August, 2014 to date.

You would be amazed...

Does not make the news at all anymore.

sad .really fucking sad. its on ignore, unlike the Vietnam war, we have no protests , enough to make news worthy.
I remember sitting in front of the B/W with Walter chroncite (sic sorry) and he would give the days or weeks body count.
there are too many other distractions in life, soccer, football moms , kids running amuck cell phones talking about nothing at all.
we are also intentionally distracted by the media. the world was looking for a stupid jet with a few hundred people on board, at the exact time Russia invades another country and by the time (weeks) anyone takes note they are already setting up shop.
now its fergussen, the border, the lakers , and all other kinds of bullshit to muddle thru , to even get to the afghan war.
just my take, sorry for the derail Blummers

No derail at all flybug. They used to keep the Vietnam KIA numbers at the bottom of the screen during newscasts.
They have new wars they want to get involved in and an old haunt they want to throw more bodies and $$$ into.

Soon as I get a minute between shifts, I will show the faces of the Fallen in Afghan this month 13 years after the start of the war.
