Had an incredible time with SLSS. Enjoyed his generosity and camaraderie on the river and in camp. We fished and camped 4 days and I wish i had not waited 10 years between fishing trips together.

Broke down on the way back to Idaho. Think it’s a fuel pump- but as this is in real time- I haven’t verified yet. Hopefully this evening I’ll have a replacement I can put in. It acted like it was out of gas and when I pulled the fuel line from the inlet to the filter- it was dry. So I believe the pump- but I’ll be doing a new filter as well

Dude just pulled me 1/4 mile up the road into the shade so the houndulas don’t cook. And he gave me a beer so I wouldn’t either.

No. I haven’t gotten fat but pepper has gotten real old at 11. Lots and lots of miles (and limes) on that dog. She’s not a stately old lady - she’s more bossy and stubborn to be stately. She still gets a few birds a year. Beans and waffles who are with me will be the ones hunting whenever I get back to the state that still has mandatory jail with possession of marijuana. I have No pictures. Harrington has some if anyone can contact him.

The front windshield glass is actually delaminating. So it’s in horrible condition like the rest. But it’s also got another 400 miles on it since last post

In addition to its Windowshield the jeep also feature a killer stereo, cracked dashboard, no cruise control, no AC and a 60 mile an hour cruising speed for the ultimate in “leisurely” travel.

Last year I finally fixed the heater after back to back years hunting in single digit weather. The year before that I drove to Littleton with all windows down- and then slave to the flyrod and I manually raised an braced them up so that I wouldn’t be too cold With all the windows down and no heater. But now the windows all work again. Like the heater.

with that beautiful rust patina on the hood you could prolly sell that gas hog to some round eyeglass wearing hipster who buttons his shirts all the way up to the top and wears beanies in the summertime for ten times what you paid for it, and get yourself something with a tape deck and AC for the gods

Make me an offer. This is the first year it’s had a price tag. It’s been my daily driver since 2013 and I put 200,000 of the 330000 on it- replacing/ maintaining everything along the way- Not very easy to find one that you can make biannual cross country trips in anymore. I’ve got a nice tape deck that needs new belts then I’ll install it.
I’ve got a six cylinder jeep wagon at the house that’s mid way through getting a 4.0 swap, so whenery I get it built I’ll have a new car.
Blaupunkt bitches.

Trying to figure out if I should hopper fish or chukar hunt this evening. Probably at least one dog would prefer chukars
